Fantastic week sailing around Pembs

Roland really tailored the Yachtmaster Preparation week specifically to the needs of the students. I felt comfortable to ask any question, and to discuss any point in greater detail. He really got us working together as a team to complete tasks efficiently. Brilliant week. It’s really relevant to do training there in the Pembrokeshire waterways. Instructors and support staff are all very helpful, responsive and professional. The Yachtmaster theory course (I took the online course Nav-School.com) was backed up with detailed and rapid responses to all questions and concerns, explanations of any difficulties were delivered immediately and with clarity. The practical preparation course was delivered with careful and demanding oversight, but was also aimed at confidence building which it was very successful at. Great time. Delivered with serious intent to train to a high standard of sailing competence. Safe boat handling under all tide, sea and weather conditions are emphasised and paramount in the course which is delivered with a very effective focus on confidence building. As well as training with Pembrokeshire Cruising, I have been one a cruise with them to the Scillies which was excellent. I have also chartered (bare boat) yachts from them for leisure sailing and that has always been a straightforward and pleasant experience with well maintained boats.
