DAY SKIPPER THEORY
COASTAL SKIPPER/YACHTMASTER THEORY
We are delighted to offer both the RYA Day Skipper & RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Shorebased Navigation courses as intensive courses, run over one two day and one three day weekend. Student numbers are limited to just individuals and groups of no more than four persons, ensuring virtually individual attention.
Our instructor is Geoff Baldwin, a highly experienced RYA Yachtmaster Instructor who regularly instructs our practical Sailing Schools as well as delivering our VHF/DSC radio courses. Over several years Geoff has developed a first class learning package which includes comprehensive PowerPoint presentations. These, coupled with 'step by step' guides offer straightforward, logical processes for students to follow.
These courses will be based in Carmarthenshire with accommodation kindly provided by Geoff and his wife Linda, staying in their own well appointed home. No doubt our success is partly derived from the informal and very comfortable environment which Geoff and Linda offer to students. The course fee will include bed, breakfast and a light lunch. Evenings will be a time to relax and enjoy a meal at a local pub or restaurant, socializing with your fellow students.
NOTE: Evening meal is not included in the cost of the course.
COURSE INCLUDES:
Bed, breakfast & lunch, RYA student pack which comprises all charts, exercises, practice tables and electronic plotter.
Students will require 2B pencil, rubber, plotter & dividers - please let us know if you would like us to supply these.
Courses are held on Sat/Sun and Sat/Sun/Mon
