
Roland Bowen is the Director of Pembrokeshire Cruising Ltd and also the principal instructor. Under Roland's direction, a team of highly qualified skippers ensure a successful experience for all.
Roland has been teaching sailing since 1992, and has a wealth of experience in delivering courses to all levels.
He is a Yachtmaster Instructor for both sail and power. He is encouraging and patient with his students, offering the ideal environment for development and learning.

Lara was a student of Pembrokeshire Cruising from Dayskipper level after being a dinghy sailor during her childhood.
Lara has been teaching since 2005, and is a Yachtmaster Instructor for sail. Her enthusiasm and passion for sailing is evident in her teaching, passing it on to all her students.
She has a wealth of experience in various types of vessels, and has skippered an engineless Open 30 around Britain, and also spent a season running a gaff rigged pilot cutter.

After taking early retirement from Xerox, after 27 years of service Geoff developed his passion for sailing, and worked to gain his instructing qualifications.
Geoff is a Yachtmaster instructor for sail, and has a huge amount of teaching experience in all areas of the country.
He also conducts our VHF courses, and in his spare time is the Commodore of the Xerox Sailing Association.
